From Toronto, there
are two routes: |

In the summertime, it
is a pleasant one hour drive
north on Highway 404/Davis
Drive/Markham Road. In winter,
the trip takes a little
more than one hour. |

1. Highway 404/Green
Lane/Woobine Ave. |
 |
|
Hwy 404 is the northern
extension of the Don Valley
Parkway (DVP) starting at
Hwy 401.
Take Hwy. 404 north to its
end (Green Lane, just north
of Newmarket).
Turn right (east) to the
traffic lights (Woodbine
Ave.).
Turn left and travel north on Woodbine.
Past Keswick, follow the main road around a big curve. You are now on Base Line.
Continue until the road ends at Dalton Rd (Sutton). |

Turn left (north) and
follow Dalton Rd. to Jackson's
Point.
At the second stop sign,
Lake Drive, turn right.
At the stop sign, Hedge
Rd., turn right.
Drive 200m to The Briars
gates. |

2. Markham Rd. (from
Toronto's east end) |

Take Markham Rd north
past Sutton to York Rd.
18 (Park Rd).
Turn left (north) to its
end at Hedge Rd.
Drive 3 km west to The Briars
gates at 55 Hedge Rd. |

From Mississauga: |

In the summertime,
it is a pleasant 75-minute
drive going north from
Mississauga on Highway
407/Highway 404. In
winter, it is an equally
scenic trip, taking
just a little longer. |

Using toll
route: Hwy.
407 ETR* east to Hwy.
404 North.
No
toll route: follow
QEW east to Hwy. 403
East, to Hwy. 401 east,
to Hwy. 404 north. |

Continue
Hwy. 404 north
to its end (Green Lane,
just north of Newmarket).
Turn right (east) to
the traffic lights (Woodbine
Ave.).
Turn left (north) onto
Woodbine and travel
the main road to its
end in Sutton.
(After going past Keswick,
the main road travels
around a big curve --
you are now on Base

airport, follow the
signs to Highway 407
ETR east. Follow the
