From Barrie:
In the summertime, it is a pleasant 1-hour drive (Orillia 50 minutes) around the lake, south on Highway 12 to 48. In winter, it is an equally scenic trip that takes little more than one hour over good roads.
Drive north on Hwy. 11 to Hwy. 12 at Orillia.
Travel south on Hwy. 12 to Hwy. 48 south.
Turn right (west) on Hwy. 48 south to York Rd. 18 (Park Rd).
Turn right (north) to its end at Hedge Rd.
Drive 3 km west to The Briars gates at 55 Hedge Road.

From Muskoka:
In the summertime, it is a pleasant 2-hour drive south from Huntsville on Hwy. 11/169/48. In winter, it is an equally scenic trip that may take longer depending on road conditions.
Follow Hwy.169 through Washago until it ends at Hwy. 12.
Turn left (south) at Hwy. 12 to Hwy. 48 south.
Travel south on Hwy. 12 to Hwy. 48 south.
Turn right (west) on Hwy. 48 south to York Rd. 18 (Park Rd).
Turn right (north) to its end at Hedge Rd.
Drive 3 km west to The Briars gates at 55 Hedge Road.
