Course Information
Golf has been a Briars tradition since 1922, when Stanley Thompson, Canada's premier golf course architect, designed the original 9-hole course. In 1971, under the direction of notable course designer, C.E. "Robbie" Robinson, the golf course was expanded to 18 holes.

"The well-maintained, easily walked track -- with well-framed but seldom narrow fairways -- is a splendid resort course; not too penal for higher handicaps but no pushover for better players looking to accurately position tee shots or master the subtle breaks of its greens." The lush fairways and velvet greens, meticulously maintained, are a testament to the skills of 2003 Canadian Golf Superintendent of the Year, Paul White.
