social get-togethers for decades with a winning combination
of facilities, accommodations and dining. Our professional
social coordinator can help groups plan and execute
events that are unique, stress-free and fun for all
ages.
Extensive recreational facilities means that there
is plenty to do, from waterfront fun to golf tournaments
on the renowned Briars championship course — to romantic
horse-drawn sleigh rides in winter. Special activities,
theme events and sports instruction are provided by
our full time recreation staff.
Social groups just love The Briars' private lodges
and cottages for an exclusive "world-apart" atmosphere
of a private resort. The lodges have many bedrooms (from
four to ten, all en-suite) and a common living room
— perfect for get-togethers and talking the night away.
Lodges and clusters of cottages are found overlooking
the lake or our scenic golf course. Larger social groups
may want to take exclusive use of one of the contemporary
wings adjoining the Manor House.
Meals at the Briars are a delight. Our social packages
include three meals daily. Special arrangements can
be made for theme dinners or barbecues. We can accommodate
many dietary requirements, including vegetarian meals.
Sandwich luncheons can be delivered to your hospitality
area. Our menus are created from fresh local ingredients
and present modern country house cuisine with flair.
