This handsome picture is (I believe) a wedding photograph of Evelenine. I'm not certain of the date it was taken, but I believe it was sometime in the 1920s. It is stamped "A. & D. Grant, Photographers, Sutton West, Ont", as is the photograph of Frederick Laviolette that accompanies it.
A. & D. Grant were probably the only photographers in Sutton, and did a quite respectable job. However, the settings for their photographs seem to have been quite limited. The checkered table cloth and a similar floral set can also be seen in the photograph of Maurice Burnie as a child.
