This is Frederick Laviolette, and what a rakish fellow he is too. This photograph was the work of A. & D. Grant, as well, and is probably the other half of a wedding set. I don't know where it was taken, but it looks like a rural setting. It may have been on the Laviolette homestead which was located on 48 highway, across from the present Morning Glory Public School.
From the style of the clothes, I would say that it was definitely sometime in the 1920s.
