Although I can't be certain, this looks like it might have been taken either shortly before, or after the wedding in 1934. However, I am certain that it was taken on the front lawn at the farm. The reason for this is, that I recognize many of the land marks (including trees) in the background.
I like this photograph, personally, because it has a "Madonna-like" quality to it. The blouse and skirt are beautifully tailored, and capture the back lighting in the photograph.
